SOLIS UTCN FACT SHEET

Solis UTCN is the team of students at the Technical University of Cluj-Napoca, Romania,
who build and develop solar vehicles.
Students design, build and race vehicles powered by sunlight.

RESULTS
2021  iLumen European Solar Challenge, Zolder: Solis EV1, 7 laps.
2022  iLumen European Solar Challenge, Zolder: Solis EV2, 150 laps, 13th of 18.
2022  Italian Solar Challenge, Imola: Solis EV2, 4th.
2023  Bridgestone World Solar Challenge, Australia: Solis EV3, about 1,200 km
      on solar power. First Romanian solar vehicle to finish a competition outside Europe.
2024  iLumen European Solar Challenge, Zolder: Solis EV4, retired after 137 laps.
2025  Bridgestone World Solar Challenge: Hyperion, about 2,700 km, to Port Augusta.
2026  iLumen European Solar Challenge (24 hours, Circuit Zolder, Belgium):
      Hyperion Origin: 248 laps in the Challenger class.
      Voyager Origin: 135 laps in the Cruiser class.
      Romanian national champions in both classes.
